Here’s a quick guide to my personal rating system when I offer my opinion on what’s family-friendly and what is better suited for a more mature audience:

• K (Kids): Appropriate for all ages, but especially geared towards children. Some older audience members may find it infantile.
• G (General): Family-friendly; could be enjoyed by just about anyone. Very little, if any, objectionable content.
• PG (Parental Guidance): Mostly okay for kids, but parents may want to take a look first. A few minor things to look out for.
• T (Teen): Intended for older audiences; probably not great for small chilcren.
• M (Mature): Definitely not for children; not explicit, but still with content or topics that could be upsetting or inappropriate for some readers.
