Pear Shading Project

One of my classes this semester is Shader Programming, which in a nutshell is how to use light, color, and texture to make computer models look aesthetically pleasing–whether realistic or stylized–once rendered. This was our first assignment: to create a concept painting in photoshop of a fruit or vegetable, paying particularly close attention to the way the light reacts to its surface.
