Never Forget

I wanted to finish this for 9/11, but that’s all right. 9/22’s not too far off. September 11, 2001 will be forever etched in the memories of many. But more important than remembering that awful calamity is remembering those who gave their lives and who are still giving their lives. Never forget the firefighters, EMTs, and other emergency response individuals. Never forget those who serve their country abroad and give their lives trying to protect the freedoms we enjoy. Never forget those you love who pass beyond mortality. Take frequent opportunities to remember them and their lives.

My first completed piece that includes an anthro-bird. Shading the feathers was kind of fun; tricky but fun. Also experimented with other coloring techniques.
