Joshil sketch

The joshil are mythological beings originating from the Patagonia (where I lived for two years). I believe legend says they were once human children who eons ago fled from the “civilized” world of their parents in order to escape the wars and other vices of humanity. They eventually came to live happily in forests, where the animals gave them fur and the ability to hide, climb, and jump.

Anyway, this is my attempt; just a quick sketch. It’s okay, but not nearly as good as the original: [link] (From the book “Seres Mitologicos Argentinos, Diario 1, Patagonia” by Leonardo Batic.) I am, however, happy that I was able to get down the basic structure of the body so that it looks at least kinda believable.
