Ine face-view practice

So I’m in the process of creating my Scalesona (that’s like a Fursona, right? Only with scales… makes sense to me!) Named Ine of course, he is a lizard, but also has feathers on his head and tail, one of his ancestors being a legendary Coatl.

Anyhoo, I’m practicing drawing his face at different points of view. I think the side view looks pretty good, the 3/4 view might need some work, though I’m not sure what. And the front view is the best attempt so far at his face from the front, but I’m still not sure if it looks quite right… I think maybe it’s a little too… squat? Dunno…

As always, suggestions and critiques are very welcome! I want to do a good job on him! :3
