Angel Value Drawing

This was a cool one! We needed to take some work of art and do a simplified value drawing of it (using only four or five values). It was like a pen/ink drawing, but we had to use a pencil (that way, our actual pen/ink drawing later this semester will seem easier I guess). We could use whatever pattern for forming value we wanted. I used hash marks. Don’t look too closely; it looks better from far away. If you want to see what the original looks like, go here: [link] I wrote Nike at the bottom, because I thought that’s who it was, but I could be wrong… Bah… again, I couldn’t scan it cuz it’s too big, so I had to settle with a photograph. Be assured that in real life it’s better looking.
